Father Giussani is not inventing a new theology. He uses the classical words of the Christian vocabulary: original sin, grace, the miracle of moral change. And yet everything seems new. For, the prevailing thinking today has emptied, even deformed the true meaning of the Christian tradition's words. For, Father Giussani's is not an abstract reflection but has the persuasive effectiveness of an experience lived and related.
